Inspired by the women of the Joseon Dynasty who shifted their focus from heavy makeup to advocating the idea of taking care of their skin rather than covering it up, Beauty of Joseon is a natural skincare brand that has reinterpreted the unchanging beauty and traditional methods from the wisdom of Joseon women. The brand takes its roots from the 'Gyuhap Chongseo’ which is considered as the encyclopedia of beauty from the Joseon Dynasty written by Yi Bingheogak, a female scholar born from a prestigious family in 1809. Beauty of Joseon intertwines this into their skincare products that focus on combining traditional herbs 'Hanbang' ingredients with scientifically backed, modern ingredients.
